How do I apply for a programme in TEBA?

How long does TEBA programme take?

Answer: Depending on the Programme you are running with TEBA. However, you can visit your study centre or nearest study centre for detailed information.

If I graduated in TEBA, will NYSC mobilize me for the 1 Year compulsory Young Service Scheme?

Answer: Yes! TEBA is affiliated with a lot of universities in Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana and Nigeria and they are all recognized by the NUC, MoE and The NYSC for mobilization.

Who will process the Admission Forms?

Answer: TEBA will process the forms and admit students directly by itself.

What is the cost of the Admission Forms?

Answer: The cost of the form is ₦10,000 for undergraduate, ₦5,000 for Master Certificate, Diploma and school of languages.

What are the courses to be offered?

Answer: TEBA offered courses in Arts, Education, Health Sciences, Management Science, Sciences and Social Sciences.

How long will it take me to complete my course?

Answer: The duration will be dependent on how long a student takes to accumulate the requisite number of credits needed for a final award. For example, a student shall require at least 120 credit units to earn an award for the Bachelor Degree, 8 credit units to earn an award for the Master Certificate and 12 credit units to earn an award for the Professional Diploma respectively.

Will the course be part-time?

Answer: Depending upon the time available to you and your workload, you can combine work and your studies or you can study full time and progress at your own rate.

Will my certificate be comparable with those from conventional universities?

Answer: Yes. TEBA has affiliated universities that are running full time, part-time, open and distance education which are recognised in Nigeria and all over the world. Our affiliated institution’s certificate will in no way be inferior to those awarded by conventional universities since the same body National Universities Commission, sets the minimum standard.

How will the students be taught?

Answer: TEBA will deliver instructions through the following:

1. Printed Materials
2. Audio/Video tapes
3. Radio and Television broadcasts
4. CD-ROMS; and
5. Internet (Where appropriate)
6. In-class tutorials and lectures

Will PHCN problem not affect the delivery of TEBA programmes?

Answer: TEBA will have standby generators in all the study centres.

How will TEBA students be assisted and guided in their studies?

Answer: The students can come to the study centres where they will meet other students; and Instructional and Tutorial Facilitators who will deal with and solve their academic needs.

How will I be mobilized for NYSC as a foreign student if my degree certificate is going to come from any of your affiliated universities outside Nigeria?

Answer: Every undergraduate student registered with TEBA will be required to get an ECOWAS passport or West African travelling document to be stamped at the Nigeria-Benin Republic border or at any border resident in any country of our affiliated universities when going for their matriculation at the university.

Will my degree certificate carry indicate I did my degree programme online?

Answer: No! All certificates issued by our affiliated universities will not indicate online degree or affiliated degree, they will be the same degree issued to any of their full time students.

Which institution will issue my Master Certificate or/and Professional Diploma?

Answer: Testament Business Academy (TEBA) will be the institution to issue you these certificates.

Will I conduct and write a research project?

Answer: Yes! All Tebites (undergraduates) are expected to conduct and write a research project. Every student will be assigned a project supervisor (academic scholar) to help you through your quantitative and qualitative research analysis and project completion.
